Rüdesheim Berg Roseneck Riesling GG

Riesling from the Grosses Lage (grand cru) of Berg Roseneck in western Rheingau. Some parts of the vineyard are rather steep with up to 50% inclination with generally stony soils, the other part is flatter with loess loam soils. Vines average 50+ years. Hand-harvested, fermentation in stainless steel, with long maturation on lees, bottling in July/August.

Tasting Note: Aromas of pineapple, apricot, mango with slate, crushed stone, warm spices on the nose. Powerful, rich, and textural on the palate, layers of ripe fruit, vibrant acidity, finessed, and lengthy mineral finish. Dry.
