Terroirs d’Écueil Brut

(2018 base) 

A blend of 85% Pinot Noir and 15% Chardonnay sourced from parcels within the 1er cru village of Écueil where soils are generally sandy with deep chalk. Maturation on lees for 22 months, dosage is a low 5g/l. The base vintage of 2018 is complimented by some 35% reserve wine.

Tasting Note: Aromas of green apple, pear, lemon, and light red berry fruit with hints of brioche, wet stone, and white flowers on the nose. Supple and round on the palate, medium to full-bodied, good orchard fruit concentration, fresh acidity, creamy mousse, and a long mineral finish.
