Sonnenglanz Gewürztraminer Grand Cru

From the southeast facing Sonnenglanz vinyard in Beblenheim at 220-270 metres altitude. Brown and deep calcareous soil with conglomerates full of limestone pebbles. Vines average 25-45 years. Fermented and aged on lees in steel tanks until the following September.

Tasting Note: Aromas of peach, orange, pineapple, with hints of fresh herb, blossom, lemon verbena, honey on the nose. Medium sweet on the palate with ripe citrus and peach on the palate, moderate acidity, silky texture and good length on the floral finish.
