Maranges La Fussière 1er Cru

Fruit from a total 1ha within La Fussière, spread amongst 2 parcels (clay & limestone soils). Average vine age of 50 years. Only the best fruit used for this cuvée. Whole cluster use will vary per vintage (2019-20% whole cluster), aged in oak for 15-18 months with new oak dependant on vintage (not more than 30%).

Tasting Note: 2019 - Aromas of blackberry, raspberry, red plum, cherry with hints of flint and forest floor on the nose. Bright with good fruit concentration of red berry and mineral notes, fresh acidity, with youthful fine tannin, berry and floral notes on the finish.
