Sancerre Blanc Les Denisottes

Fruit from the lieux-dit of Les Denisottes totalling of 1.1ha. Vines age between 40-53 years growing on deep, pebbly Kimmeridgian soils. Vines range between 40-53 years. Vinified and aged on lees in demi-muid for 10-14 months. More of a richer style of Sancerre requiring longer élevage in barrel and with greater capacity to age.

Tasting Note: Aromas of lime, white peach, green apple, pear with hints of lychee, nettle, crushed stone, sea salt on the nose. Pure, savoury, and rich on the palate, a stony mineral and citrus/orchard fruit core, bright acidity, great intensity and depth, rounded texture, salty on a lengthy finish.
