Sylvaner

Fruit from the east/southeast facing Rosacker vineyard in Hunawihr at 260-330m altitude. Soils are deep limestone with lots of small stones. Vinified and aged in oak barrels on lees until the end of winter. Rosacker owes its name to a wild rose bush. 

Tasting Note: Aromas of citrus fruit with hints of white flower on the nose. Supple on the palate with slight residual sugar balanced with fresh acidity, ripe citrus & flower, and a touch of mineral on the soft finish.
