Bourgogne Côte D’Or Chardonnay

Fruit coming from a collection of parcels within the Meursault and bordering area. Vines range 10-70 years old. Vinified and matured in older oak barrel for 12 months (a small portion of new oak used for maturation) then a further 6 months in steel tank prior to bottling.

Tasting Note: Aromas of apple, lemon, and orange with hints of ginger, toasted hazelnut, and honeysuckle on the nose. Lovely freshness and a rounded texture on the palate, an orchard and citrus fruit core, crisp acidity, good balance and length on the finish with a touch of oak spice.
