Quartier Libre

A blend of Grenache (50%), Carignan (20%), Syrah (20%), and Llendoner Pelut (10%) from seven parcels spread across multiple communes. Soils are generally of black shale and granite sands. The wine spends 12 months in oak barrels prior to bottling 

Tasting Note: Aromas of blackberry, black cherry, raspberry, and plum with hints of anise, black pepper, peppermint, and garrigue on the nose. Medium-bodied and juicy with a red & blue fruited core on the palate, fresh acidity, integrated but still youthful tannin, savoury, dry herb and spice on the finish.
