Corton Charlemagne Grand Cru
Fruit from a parcel in the centre of Corton Charlemagne facing south, soils are a mix of clay, limestone, and sand. Hand harvested and pressed directly, slow fermentation and maturation on lees in oak barrels for 14 months with some new oak barrels.
Tasting Note: Aromas of ripe apple, pear, lemon with hints of white flower, white pepper, stone mineral, hazelnut on the nose. Rich and full on the palate with an orchard fruit core with citrus nuances, fresh acidity, a round texture, a lovely mineral depth and hints of spice on the finish.
