2017 - Warm spring with frost mostly avoided. Hot/warm weather for spring and summer leading to an early harvest. Picking dates are essential due to the risk of rain. A plentiful harvest.

All vintages: Fruit from a 1ha parcel within Les Damaudes a vineyard bordering Nuits St Georges, on steep slopes higher on the hill. Vines average 70+ years. 100% de-stemmed fruit with 50% new oak.

Tasting Note: 2017 - Aromas of plum and cherry with hints of rose and herbs. Medium-bodied with a ripe red fruit core, fresh acidity, firm tannins, earth and red fruit notes on the finish.
