Furth Pinot Noir
Pinot Noir from estate fruit within the Furth-Palt village on the banks of the Danube River. Soils are generally fertile sand with chalky gravel from the Danube. Vines average 30-40 years. Spontaneous ferment in steel tank with 12 months of aging in large older oak barrels.
Tasting Note: Aromas of strawberry, cherry, and blackberry with hints of spice, rosehip, forest floor, and smoke on the nose. Medium-bodied with red & blackberry fruit on the palate, fresh acidity, fine tannin with a slight grip, and good length on a mineral finish.
