Azure Chenin Blanc

A single plot Chenin Blanc from grower Marie Dubillot in Chaudefonds-Sur-Layon (Anjou). Grapes grow on clay/sand soils on a base of green to grey schist with an average vine age of 30 years and are in organic conversion. Manual harvest with natural fermentation and aging in vat for 6 months.

Tasting Note: Aromas of lemon, red apple, and peach with hints of white flower on the nose. Good richness with a rounded texture on the palate, a ripe tree fruit core, fresh acidity, good balance, and fruity on the finish.
