Vin de Paille

Trousseau, Poulsard, and Chardonnay harvested late then the bunches placed in racks on a bed of straw to further raisinate. Maturation in oak cask for 3 years prior to bottling.

Tasting Note: Aromas of apricot, peach, dried fig, orange marmalade, honey, ginger, chestnut, cinnamon, black tea, dried fig, and caramel on the nose. Rich and very layered with notes of fruit and spices, and a creamy texture, the sweetness is perfectly balanced with the fresh acidity, and a long finish of dried fruit & spices.
