5th generation Philippe currently oversees Champagne Guy Charlemagne in the Côte des Blancs. Founded in 1892, the estate covers 15ha of vineyards, mainly in the Grand Cru areas of Mesnil-sur-Oger and Oger. With an average vine age nearing 40+ years, farming is done sustainably with manual harvests, use of a traditional 4000kilo press, slow ferments, and long aging in the dark chalk cellars beneath the winery. With their philosophy of “Quality is my truth”, Philippe and his team are dedicated to crafting pure, extraordinary wines.
