Les Beurys Grand Cru

Eric’s single parcel expression of Pinot Noir from the chalky vineyard of Les Beurys in Ambonnay with a vine age of approx. 35 years old. Blanc de Noirs with the base wine fermented in oak, no malolactic fermentation, and a dosage of 3 grams per litre.

Tasting Note: 2010 - Fresh fruit aromas of red cherry, cranberry, and stone fruit with hints of hazelnut and candied rose on the nose with a yeasty, round texture and tangy acidity on the palate finishing with a touch of a vanilla note.

2013 - Aromas of apricot, yellow plum, wild strawberry, currants with hints of spice, brioche, and white flower on the nose. Rich with great concentration on the palate, a juicy fruit core with a mineral edge, fine and delicate mousse, bright acidity, great depth, and a long spicy finish.
