Vinyes Baixes

Merlot (60%) + Cariñena, Cabernet Sauvignon Picapoll Negre, Garnacha from the single vineyard of Vinyes Baixes. Vines planted are a mix of centennial, head pruned vines and 7-25 year trellised vines growing on llicorella soil. Fermentation with natural yeasts in stainless steel then aged in first & second year French oak barrels for 14 months.

Tasting Note: Aromas of black cherry, black plum with liquorice, mineral, oak spice, green herb on the nose. Full and round on the palate with dark berry fruit and toasty oak spice, fresh acidity, fine tannin, long lengthy finish with hints of stone mineral notes.
