Vosne-Romanée

Fruit mostly (90%) from the Aux Communes parcel, 14-18 months in oak (usually 20% new, but vintage dependant). Whole cluster is also vintage dependant (max 30% if used).

Tasting Note: 2016 - Red fruit aromas hiding behind a bouquet of red flowers, baking spices, and summer fruit. Juicy up front and a silky texture on the palate with a hint of mineral.

2019 - Aromas of dark cherry, cranberry, strawberry with hints of cinnamon, oak spice, forest floor, smoke on the nose. Slight reduction upfront with deep dark cherry and berry fruit underneath on the palate, mid-full bodied, tightly wound, fine youthful tannin, floral on the finish. Will need some time in the cellar.
