Condrieu
Viognier from multiple parcels (including the famous Chéry slope) totalling 1.5ha growing on sandy decomposed granite soils rich in quartz and mica. Vines average 25 years of age. Fermentation in stainless steel and oak barrel and aging on lees in stainless steel (1/3) and barrel (2/3) with 10-20% new oak for 12 months prior to bottling.
Tasting Note: Aromas of apricot, melon, pineapple, orange zest with hints of chamomile, blossom, and spice on the nose. Rich and supple on the palate with a core of pitted fruit layered with spice notes, lovely concentration, a silky texture, fresh acidity, and a long juicy and floral finish.
