Vin De Pays Des Collines Rhodaniennes Merlot-Syrah

A Merlot (60%), Syrah (40%) blend. Merlot grown on sandy soils, on gentle slopes with an average vine age of 20 years. Syrah grown on granite soils, on the top of the hillsides with an average vine age of 40 years. Manual harvest with de-stemmed grapes, vinified separately in steel tank, ageing in older barrique for 12 months, blended at bottling.

Tasting Note: Aromas of black cherry, raspberry, plum with hints of liquorice, mineral, oak spice on the nose. Mid to full bodied and round on the palate, juicy red/ black fruit, fresh acidity, plush tannin, good length with warm berry fruit on the finish.
