Bourgogne Hautes-Côtes de Beaune Pinot Noir

Pinot Noir from 4 vineyards totalling 2.5ha in Cheilly-Les-Maranges. Vines average 50 years of age and grow on diverse soils with a mix of sandstone, clay, gravel and marl. Hand-harvested and destemmed, fermentation with natural yeast with maturation in older oak barrel.

Tasting Note: Aromas of black cherry, currants, and raspberry with hints of violet, earth, and spice on the nose. Fresh and bright on the palate with a supple berry fruit core, good acidity, fine tannins, and good length on a mineral finish. Well-balanced and good approachability cherry, raspberry, and cassis with spice notes of anise and nutmeg. Medium-bodied on the palate with a ripe red fruit core and a slight peppery note. Supple tannins with a pleasant finish.
