Sancerre Rouge La Noue

Pinot Noir from 7 parcels totalling 2.5ha from the domaine vineyards. Vines range in age of 10-60 years, growing on soils of clay-chalk and kimmeridgian marl. Natural fermentation in tank then aging in a mix of tanks and demi-muids for 12-18 months.

Tasting Note: Aromas of black cherry, redcurrants, raspberry, blueberry with hints of black tea, mushroom, green herb, underbrush on the nose. Medium bodied, rich, and supple on the palate with a core of red/black berry fruit, good acidity, youthful tannin, rounded texture, hints of spice on a long finish.
