PIC Saint Loup - L'Olivette

Fruit from vines planted on old olive groves. Vines average 25 years of age on gravel & chalky limestone soil. Generally whole cluster ferment with indigenous yeast in concrete vats, aged in large oak barrel with 1/3 new oak for 14 months.

Tasting Note: 2017 - Aromas of blackcurrant, wild raspberry with violet, clove spice, and garrigue on the nose. Supple and round on the palate with a juicy red/black fruit core, fresh acidity, ripe tannin, and good length on the layered finish with notes of black pepper, mineral, and dried herb.
