Chablis Les Clos Grand Cru

Fruit from a tiny south facing 0.53ha parcel within Les Clos Grand Cru with vines planted on clay limestone soils in 1962. Vinified and aged in demi-muids (500L barrels, 50% new) for about 7 months with further maturation in stainless tanks for another 7 months.

Tasting Note: Aromas of pear, stone fruit, peach with white flower, oyster shell, spice on the nose. Full bodied with lovely richness on the palate and a good concentration of fruit, firm acidity, great depth & persistence, finessed, great length on a mineral finish.
