Mandelberg Gewürztraminer Grand Cru

Fruit from the south-facing Mandelberg vineyard, which is split between communes of Mittelwihr and Beblenheim at 205-256m in altitude. Meaning “hill of almonds” this area has been planted with almond trees for centuries and now side by side with grapevines. Soils are clay and limestone with small stones.

Tasting Note: Aromas of candied fruit with hints of rose and honey the nose. Rich with a round texture, marmalade & fresh citrus on the mid palate, subtle sweetness, and a hint of chamomile on the lengthy finish.
