Rosacker Riesling Grand Cru

Fruit from the east/southeast facing Rosacker vineyard in Hunawihr at 260-330m altitude. Soils are deep limestone with lots of small stones. Rosacker owes its name to a wild rose bush. Vinified and aged in oak barrels on lees until the end of winter.

Tasting Note: Aromas of mango, apricot, orange, ripe pear, and lime with hints of honey, white floral, flint, petrol, and toasted walnut on the nose. Harmonious with great concentration and finesse, ripe/honeyed fruit core layered with mineral notes, bright acidity, and a good long finish. Sublime.
