Bourgogne Blanc - Clos Alfred

Chardonnay from a small 0.8 parcel of younger vines (30+ years) from a vines next to the domaine. Wines are aged 1/3 in 500L barrels and 2/3 in steel tanks, blended at bottling.

Tasting Note: 2020 - Aromas of white peach, lemon peel, ripe pear with hints of white flower and chalk mineral on the nose. Lovely richness and fruit concentration on the palate, fresh acidity, creamy texture, good length on a saline finish.
