Beaune 1er Cru Cent Vignes

Fruit from a parcel within the Cent Vignes 1er Cru at the foot of the hill facing east. Vines average 40 years of age and grow on fairly deep clay-limestone soils. Manually harvested, grapes are sorted and fermented in tank, then matured in oak barrels for 14 months.

Tasting Note: Aromas of red fruits: plum, cherry, raspberries with hints of spice, forest floor, red flower on the nose. Round and elegant on the palate with a red berried and earthy core, fresh acidity, fine tannin with a slight grip, and good length on a spicy finish.
