Chassagne-Montrachet

2016: Devastating frost in April resulted in limited production for many, challenges combating mildew for some, but a warm dry summer helped to achieve good ripeness overall. Fruit from a parcel on the foothill of Les Goujonnes, in the middle of Chassagne Montrachet. Vinified and matured on lees for 12 months in oak barrels with 20% new.

Tasting Note: 2016 - Aromas of lemon, apple, peach with hints of butter, honey. Medium-bodied and a round creamy texture, vibrant acidity, good tension, some chalk and stone mineral notes on the finish.
