Puligny-Montrachet

2017 - Warm spring with frost mostly avoided. Hot/warm weather for spring and summer leading to an early harvest. Picking dates are essential due to the risk of rain. A plentiful harvest. Fruit from a parcel 0.2ha in size north of Puligny village and with vines averaging 35 years.  Vinified and matured in oak barrels on lees and bottled after 14 months.

Tasting Note: 2017 - Aromas of white peach, red apple, lemon with white flowers on the nose. Rich and with a round texture, a juicy white fruit core with hints of white pepper spice, fresh acidity, lovely intensity through to the finish.
