Grüner Veltliner Loibner Beerenauslese

A rare offering. Produced only in years when weather conditions permit, botrytis affected Grüner Veltliner grapes from vineyards: Kreutles, Loibenberg, Schütt. Natural fermentation in tank and bottled when Emmerich senses the relationship between alcohol, sugar, and acid is at its peak.

Tasting Note: Aromas of rhubarb, dried apricot, candied lemon with cinnamon, spice cake, ginger white pepper, and caramel on the nose. Sweet, beautifully rich and lush on the palate, a concentrated orchard fruit core, good acidity, rounded texture, very elegant, bittersweet on a long finish. Still in its youth and has great aging potential.
