Loibner Grüner Veltliner Smaragd Vinothekfüllung

Only made in outstanding years, a selection of highest quality Grüner Veltliner from Emmerich Knoll’s top vineyard sites – Kreutles, Loibenberg, Kellerberg, all with southern exposure and vines grow on soils of gneiss and some loess. Vinified in stainless steel and old cask, aged on lees for 6-8 months. A very special bottling. 

Tasting Note: Aromas of ripe apple, passionfruit, mango, pear, and ginger with hints of fresh herb, honey, stone mineral, and bay leaf on the nose. Rich and powerful on the palate, a great concentration of fruit & spices, fresh acidity, rounded texture, and a mix of fruit & spices on a long finish.
