A medium-bodied, silky and relatively dry with notes of cucumber and licorice trailing off into an aromatic finish reminiscent of standing beside a seashore thick with seaweed. Pairs beautifully with a simple sashimi platter but would also pair gracefully with grilled shellfish (even mildly spiced with a hot-pepper and citrus marinade) or sweet barbecued pork ribs.
