Montagny Les Coères 1er Cru

A cool, wet winter and spring, hail in late July reduced yields. Sunny and warm in August through till Sept which was definitely beneficial for ripening. Fruit from an organic parcel within Les Coères 1er cru higher on the slope. Vines average 25 years. Vinified and aged in oak with 5% new.

Tasting Note: Aromas of fresh pear, lemon peel, with white flower on the nose. Medium bodied, clean and fresh with bright citrus fruit, crisp acidity, with fine mineral notes on the finish.
