Pouilly-Fuissé En Vergisson

A cool, wet winter and spring, hail in late July reduced yields. Sunny and warm in August through till Sept which was definitely beneficial for ripening Fruit sourced from the clay and limestone soils of Vergisson lieux-dit. Vinified and aged in mostly 600L barrels with 5% new oak incorporated.

Tasting Note: Ripe aromas of peach, pear and hints of flower, honey, brioche on the nose. Rich and textural on the palate with a concentrated fruit core, fresh acidity, finessed and plenty of minerality on the finish
