Pinot Noir Reserve

Pinot Noir from the Ried Satzen vineyard where the soils are rocky and deep loess with a quartz and lime-rich gravel subsoil from the Danube River. Vines average 45+ years. Spontaneous ferment in tank with aging in partly new barriques for 18 months.

Tasting Note: Aromas of cassis, plum, blackberry with notes of earth, mineral, oak spice on the nose. Rich with good freshness on the palate, juicy red & black fruit, fresh acidity, fine tannin, good concentration and intensity, good length on the finish with subtle spice notes.
