St Laurent Reserve

St. Laurent from the single vineyard Ried Satzen in the village of Furth. Vines average 45+ years on soils of lime-rich loess, clay & gravel from the Danube River. Natural fermentation in tank, aging in oak barrels (partly new) for 18 months.

Tasting Note: Aromas of blackberry, cherry, cassis with hints of liquorice, green herb, dark chocolate on the nose. Medium weight with juicy red/black fruit, fresh acidity, soft tannin, drying finish with black fruit and mineral notes.
