Gelber Muskateller Raw

Gelber Muskateller (aka Muscat à Petit Grains) from 2 parcels within the vineyard named Landwid. Vines average 15 years, planted on loess and conglomerate soils. Temperature controlled natural fermentation on skins (around 10-20 days), maturation in large old wooden casks, bottled without filtering and no sulphur added.

Tasting Note: 2019 - Unfiltered and naturally cloudy orange in appearance, aromas of apricot, grapefruit, ripe apple with hints of black tea and smoke. Dry and spicy with vibrant acidity, ripe yellow fruit core, good depth, soft tannin, spicy on the finish 

2020 - Cloudy orange in appearance with aromas of ripe peach, apricot, grapefruit with white flower, smoky, nutmeg. Dry and piquant with crisp acidity, tart yellow fruit, slightly savoury, creamy/yeasty texture, a hint of smoke on the finish.
