Founded in Gojome-machi, Akita in 1688, Fukurokuju Brewery has been working closely with local rice farmers and brewing sakes that highlight the local ingredients. Ippaku Suisei brand was introduced in 2006 and soon became one of the top brands in the market. Their sakes are brewed with medium-hard well water that results in a smooth, crisp finish.
