Dolcetto D’Alba Monte Aribaldo

Dolcetto from the Monte Aribaldo hill in Treiso. The vineyard faces south/southwest on clay-based soils. Vines range from 10-30 years. Vinified in stainless steel and aged in a combination of stainless and cement tanks for roughly 5 months prior to bottling.

Tasting Note: Aromas of cherry, blueberry, and plum with hints of almond, lavender, and licorice on the nose. Medium-bodied with bright purple berry fruit on the palate, fresh acidity, good structure, fine tannin, and good length on the finish with lovely spice notes.
