Patchwork Chardonnay

Chardonnay from various parcels in Arbois where vines are 25 years or older growing on soils of either clay or limestone based. Spontaneous fermentation with indigenous yeast, the wine is matured in oak barrels for 12 months with 10% new. Barrels are topped up (non-oxidative style) for a fresher representation of Chardonnay.

Tasting Note: Aromas of ripe peach, lemon, apricot, and passionfruit with hints of cardamom, white flower, and flint on the nose. Rich and multi-layered with orchard fruit & mineral on the palate, bright acidity, savoury, rounded texture, and a good lengthy finish.
