Pinot Noir

Pinot-Noir.jpg

Pinot Noir from parcels in Assmannshausen (slate soils) and Rüdesheim (loess, slate, quartzite soils) with some fruit from an old parcel of 60+ year vines. Raised in barrique. Raised in 1-3year barriques for 12-14 months.

Tasting Note: Aromas of blackberry, red cherry with hints of mushroom, mineral, dark meat on the nose. Full-bodied with a silky texture on the palate, juicy red & black fruit with a savoury note, fresh acidity, fine tannin, great power, with a lengthy aromatic finish.
