Established in 1820 in Higashi-Ohmi, Shiga, Kita Sake Brewery has been brewing the finest sake for over 200 years. Kirakucho is well-known sake as it follows the traditional “Noto” style brewing.  Their products range from Nama (unpasteurized) sakes to Koshu (aged sakes), making them one of the most unique breweries. The brewers make their sakes hoping that the people who drink the sake will have a long life filled with happiness and joy.
