Les Crestes

A blend of younger vine 80% Garnacha, 10% Cariñena, 10% Syrah from multiple parcels growing on llicorella soils. The Garnacha vines average 20 years of age, Cariñena at 80 years, and Syrah at 15 years. Grapes fully destemmed and fermented in stainless steel, ageing for 8 months in 2nd-year French oak barrels.

Tasting Note: Aromas of blackberry, plum with licorice, violet, and dry herb on the nose. Supple and rich on the palate with juicy berry fruit and floral notes, good acidity, medium-bodied, fine tannin, and good length on the finish.
