Salanques

A blend of 65% Garnacha, 25% Cariñena, and 10% Syrah from multiple parcels growing on llicorella soils. The Garnacha vines at 40-80 years of age, Cariñena at 80 years, and Syrah at 15 years. Fermented in stainless steel and barrel, aging for 14 months in French oak barrels (50% new, 50% 2nd year barrels.)

Tasting Note: Aromas of plum, blueberry with flowers, wild herb, and a hint of wet stone mineral on the nose. Rustic but expressive with good depth on the palate, medium-bodied, juicy berry fruit and flower, slight dusty tannin, lengthy finish with a hint of mineral.
