Les Fournettes - Pinot Noir

Eric’s single parcel expression of Pinot Noir from the vineyard of Les Fournettes in Ambonnay, planted in 1992. The base wine is fermented fully in oak with no malolactic fermentation. 7 years on lees followed by a dosage limited to 2g per litre.

Tasting Note: 2009 - Deep and fruity aromas of perfectly ripe cherries, flowers, brioche and marmalade. Vinous on the palate with stimulating minerality, fine tension, and a spicy finish. Powerful and very complex.
