Les Genettes Pinot Noir Grand Cru

Genettes is the power and graceful version which complement very well the subtle and long Beurys. It comes from a vineyard that enjoys southeast exposure and has a relatively deep topsoil before the roots can penetrate the chalky soil of Ambonnay, vines average 40+ years. 100% Pinot Noir, vinification fully in oak barrels with no malolactic fermentation. Dosage is a low 3 grams per litre.

Tasting Note: The nose and the palate are harmoniously complemented by fragrances and flavours of red fruits such as wild strawberry, blueberry or redcurrant while expressing spices of gray or white pepper with a remarkable finish on touches of oak wood enhanced by hints of vanilla.
