Nuits-Saint-Georges

Devastating frost in April resulted in limited production for many, challenges combating mildew for some, but a warm dry summer helped to achieve good ripeness overall. Fruit from a blend of 7 different parcels on the Vosne side of Nuits Saint Georges. Vines have an average age of 50 years. Vinified with 60% whole cluster and aged in oak with 10% new.

Tasting Note: Attractive aromas of red berries, dark earth, game and dark chocolate. Medium to full-bodied with a palate full of plum fruit and spices with bright acidity and fine but youthful tannins.
