Nuits-Saint-Georges Les Procès 1er Cru

Warm spring with frost mostly avoided. Hot/warm weather for spring and summer leading to an early harvest. Picking dates are essential due to the risk of rain. A plentiful harvest. Fruit from a 0.7ha holding, just south of the village of Nuits-Saint-Georges, with vines averaging 50 years. Vinified with 50% whole cluster, aged in oak with 20% new.

Tasting Note: A bouquet of pure cherry, strawberry, and raspberry with wildflowers. Medium-bodied with a juicy core of pretty red fruit, refreshing acidity and impressively complex mineral and black tea notes on the long finish.
