Puligny-Montrachet Les Perrières 1er Cru

Fruit from vines planted in 1986 from a 0.48ha parcel at the bottom of the 1er cru band, lower on the slope. Soils are very compact and dense, full of rocks and minerals. Fermentation with indigenous yeast, aged in oak for 12-18 months with 20% new.

Tasting Note: Very floral upfront with aromas of green apple, lemon, pear and hints of anise and stone mineral. Rich and dense with great concentration on the palate, a core of citrus and crunchy orchard fruit layered with some stone mineral, crisp acidity, finessed and with a structure that will age well, a generous drying saline finish.
