Corton Rognet Grand Cru
Fruit from a parcel within the Corton Rognet Grand Cru facing east and vines grow on well-drained red clay soils with high iron content. Matured in oak barrels for 16 months with 50% new barrels.
Tasting Note: Aromas of black cherry, plum, wild strawberry with hints of forest floor, baking spices, violets, oak spice on the nose. Great depth and structure on the palate with a deep red/black fruit core layered with earthy notes, fresh acidity, fine tannin, good concentration, spice on the long finish.
